On November 8, 2017 Tencent Global Partner Conference "Creation · Location & Car Link Sub-Forum" was held in Chengdu. In this conference, Tencent location service was comprehensively upgraded and released in terms of data, capabilities and solutions, providing strong support for the industry to reduce costs and increase efficiency and social public services. At the same time, Tencent Location Services announced the establishment of the "location + joint open lab" to export capabilities to partners in a more open attitude.

As one of the four basic capabilities of Tencent's "Internet +", Tencent location service is the key investment direction of Tencent in recent years. Currently, the average daily volume of location service has reached 55 billion times, which not only enables business and helps smart retail, but also provides basic services for wechat, Mobile Q, Jingdong, Didi Chuxing, Xinmeida, Mobike and other apps for a long time. Help China Post, Dada and other logistics enterprises to improve service efficiency, and continue to provide service platform exploration and innovation.

The joint establishment of the "location + joint open laboratory" with many partners, Tencent location services will further open and share advanced technology experience, provide quota support and advanced capabilities of location services to laboratory members, provide better service quality and guarantee, members can also put forward customized needs to Tencent location services team, and jointly develop and deepen industry solutions.
